Terrell Beaudry – President
Terrell serves as president of SOAR and producer for most shows. He is a cofounder of the nonprofit and its driving force for artistic vision. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Music in Education degree, as well as a Master of Educational Leadership degree from Concordia University. He is currently working on his specialist degree. Terry works as a choir director at Anoka Middle School for the Arts and music director at St. Victoria’s Catholic Church. Terry sang with the MN Opera for four seasons and frequently offers his lyrical tenor voice for solo opportunities. He enjoys spending time with his six kids, his golden doodle, and his wife Ellen
Debbie Bishop – Vice President
Debbie began on the SOAR Board in 2013 and currently serves as Vice President. She is the Front of the House Manager for each production and is the liaison between SOAR and its community partners such as the City of St Michael and the STMA School District. She currently works part time at Buffalo United Methodist Church as the Worship and Music Coordinator, sings in a Praise Band, serves on the Board of Directors for the Hanover Food Shelf and has volunteered there for the past 13 years. Debbie graduated from the University of WI – Eau Claire with a degree in Music Therapy. She has 2 wonderful boys and an amazing husband who have always supported her passion for the arts!
Jamie Reznicek – Treasurer
Jamie has served as the Treasurer on the SOAR board since its creation in 2011. She serves many roles in the organization, including TAG (Teen Advisory Group) Adviser. She co-created the TAG program in 2014 to help bridge the gap from our Academy program and Adult productions. Jamie also coordinates SOAR’s summer camps offerings and is incredibly proud that most of the instructors for summer camps are current and former TAG members. Community and giving back has been very important to Jamie; she also served on the board of the Otsego Lions and was also a founding board member. In addition, she helped with the transition of Gifts Anonymous from CAER to its own 501(c)(3) and serves on the board of that organization as well.
Ellen Beaudry – Secretary
Ellen Beaudry is a co-founder of SOAR. She serves as the board secretary, marketing chair, Beyond the Stage coordinator, and accessibility facilitator. She is self-employed as a part-time private music instructor and a full-time mom. She believes that the arts are an essential component of the human condition and wants them to be available to everyone. Ellen also finds fulfillment volunteering for Children’s Hospital, MN and St. Michael Catholic Church. She and her husband Terry are raising six amazing kids and one goofy dog. Ellen received a bachelor of music in education from the University of Minnesota in 2001.
Matt Weber – Director
Matt serves on the board of SOAR and is the deck manager for all of our productions. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Matt is self employed as the owner of a construction company. He also lends his time to other local community organizations such as the St. Michael Daze & Knights Festival. In his spare time Matt likes spending time outside relaxing with his friends and family.
